There is so much good food In Tucson, I often joke with people that this is the reason we have been back so many times! However it is true Tucson, in 2015, was name the very first UNESCO City of Gastronomy in the United States. Below small list of the places me and my family love to frequent.
Hands down mine and my son's favorite place to eat. It is not an exaggeration to say we eat here no less than 2 times a month. With 3 locations serving Tucson, We are never far and never disappointed.
When we have family or friends visit, Baja is on our must go list. Their food, putting a Southwest flair on breakfast classics, is phenomenal, service impeccable, and well worth the wait! Oh and did I mention they were featured on Diners, Drive ins, and Dives? This is truly a Tucson gem.
Have you ever had New Mexico cuisine? The use of Hatch Red and Green Chilies is what sets this style apart. Rich in flavor, and very versatile the Hatch Chile has a cult following. Order the Red or the Green, I just prefer "Christmas Style" the best of both worlds.
One of the first places Jen and I discovered back in 2009. Affordable and delicious, what else is there to say? Just 5 minutes North from the D-M Main-Gate off Craycroft and 22nd st. Do yourself a favor and come enjoy some amazing Mexican food.
With us just having left Europe, we discovered this place when my daughter had a hankering for some Peirogi. They did not disappoint. The Eastern European food is out of this world, and definitely worth a visit. Cozy with a great staff and some hard to find Polish beers, we love to visit often.
Its tough to pick just one, we have tried a few actually, but we always come back to Korea House. The Beef Bulgogi and Bibim Bob are our go to's. Outstanding food with outstanding service.
